Wokka take a look at the Google Fyra map and tell me that im not seeing a spiderweb of MK Derp Zones round it...

I have been looking around at maps and im assuming the black parts of the fyra map is wild grass. That is my guess but in the terra map I searched around my city and I saw a few of those black parts too.

If you're referring to the black patches within the map, that is tall grass. I think Vallorn's post is about the tangled mess around Fyra's borders.

Dang, my project on Skyworld takes up a decent chunk of the map. It's the second largest structure on the map from what I can tell.

I believe the cartographer is down, as the newest maps are dated for the 21rst. Is that due to the recent server maintenance?

In the past, maps above a certain size have caused Cartography to hang. This new map definitely qualifies as above that size.

why do the maps of the worlds go on further than the worlds? i.e. what the map of fyra shows as sea is actually void.

Also, have the maps not been updated for a while?

read the posts above you please. the Big Flush update cause the world map to become to large for Cartographer to work properly.

I can't seem to access the Fyra map. I could fully download it onto my computer, but when I tried to view it, it said that the file seemed to be damaged or corrupted.

we already told you. they havent been updated since the Big Flush when the Borderguard's edges were replaced by Void.
the bits you are talking about were over the Border's so were removed.

Maps are updated. Survival Google is goofed, but it should fix itself on the next run through.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Google map IS there; for survival, it just has all the maps aggregated into one super-map for Survival. Perspective's always been top-down, as far as I know.

if you go to it from the links on the homepage it's the .png map.it used to have a google map for all of them, I think.

Ah, yes -- that's because all the survival maps are now hosted on one mapfile. A google map is not the best way to display that; but we do have the top-down google map link in the OP in this thread.

I don't seem to be able to view many of the maps. When I attempt to view the Terra and Fyra maps I just get a blank white page, even when I download them. I have tried to view them on multiple computers, but the end result is the same. Am I the only one having this problem, or is this a problem with the map?

No Preston, there is something wrong with the browser you use. It must not have the neccesary plugins to run it, although I would assume you have Java and Flash so Im not sure what it could be. What browser are you using and what, if any messages pop up when you try and view the maps?

It seems to happen to me too infes. I'm using the latest google chrome and just updated my java. I believe my flashplayer is completely up to date too. All I see is one random sea chunk and a long strip on the left

I've update the OP, the best way to see our maps is to use the google map link for it, the other links are very large images. http://www.escapecraft.net/maps/survival/
