Herobrine
Herobrine
Have your heard this rumor yet?
If you haven't: It's basically the Loch Ness monster of Minecraft. A no-name, strange npc, that shows up sometimes in single player. No name, nothing, just shows up. It started with a picture, then a video, than some made up story that it's Notch's dead brother...
It spreads like fire in an illegal fireworks shop, people make pictures of "him" and videos... I already had like 6 guys in 2 days asking about this...
People are so gullible...

though it might have started due to the World generator cranking out some strange things. Like large areas that the dirt has been removed, or trees floating above lakes.

I once loaded up a single player world and found a perfect 7x7 square cut into some sand. *X-Files Music*
No really, that did happen.
It was weird.

Re: Herobrine
I started a new world and almost immediately came across a perfect, approx 20x20 stone tower reaching from the ground to near sky-level. I was like 'wait, what?'
Needless to say, I hollowed out the inside and made it my home.

I did warn against unneeded thread necros. Unneeded thread necros that goad the person warning against them are also a rather bad idea.
