Favourite Movie Scenes

Post by DuplicateValue » 03 Jan 2013, 19:15

Pretty self explanatory. Post your favourite movie scenes.

Maybe it's an awesome moment, maybe it's great cinematography.
In my case, it's usually the music that makes it.

Fight Club - Predictable I know, but this scene still gives me shivers.

I wanted to include the Watchmen opening credits sequence, but I can't find it on YouTube.

Oh, and TV shows are alright too. Go!

He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun.
He's ancient and forever.
He burns at the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe.
And... he's wonderful."

I love the Watchmen credits too, it's probably my favourite part of the film.

The only other one I can think of right now is this from Up:

While there's a lot of cool scenes in Apocalypse Now this stands out as one of the most memorable:

Let us begin, Stranger Than Fiction is one of my favourite films and this speech is very reminiscent of the raindrops speech from bladerunner.

Two scenes from my favorite movie (they spoil the plot pretty wholly, so don't watch them if you haven't seen the Shawshank Redemption).
Spoiler! :

It's amazing what this movie accomplishes with music and narration alone. Even without watching the video, these scenes are great.
