Alfred in Batman is really Bruce who have time traveled back in time to protect himself.

He made is safely because he had Alfred (Bruce), that he later found out was himself and then when he became old and then had to go back in time to become Alfred so he would not disrupt time.

Well Alfred is older then Batman, and he IS Batman, so

Jeeves HAS to be Mountbatten in disguise!

It all makes sense now!

Unless he was supposed to be interacting with himself in the past anyway. There are plenty of times when people interact with themselves in Doctor Who, including the Doctor with past Doctors.
