They're overrated and, really, not very skilled.

Overrated? 30 years+ in the business, changing their sound with every album, not auto-tuned modern crap or screemo, James can sing very well, they are nick-named the godfathers of metal and influenced many metal and sub-metal genre band and are known for some of the best guitar playing and all members have been inducted into the music hall of fame. If you dont like Metal type music then thats fine. But calling Metallica overrated and not very skilled is complete ignorance on your part. Also id like to point out the irrelevance of saying you dont like metallica, under your picture. /educational rant

I appreciate your dedication to the band, and I understand why you like them. It wasn't right of me to call them unskilled - the point I meant to portray was that last time I saw them in concert, it was terrible. In my opinion they began to lose their touch after Master of Puppets, and regardless of what they've been called they aren't the "godfathers of metal". I hate to play the fanboy card but Led Zeppelin has held that spot since 1968. They pioneered the rock genre and filled the gap between bands like the Beatles, and those like Metallica. I admire that Metallica is still on the field, but I just don't like the music they've put out after Master of Puppets.

On topic: I was wearing a Metallica shirt in the picture.

EDIT: I don't mind that you guys thought I was black. There's actually a funny story behind the Gary Coleman picture, but I won't go into detail about that. I got bored of it and I was watching Zoolander.

Hard to make out it was a metallica shirt you were wearing, or i durped, Led Zeppelin are good by i was stating that some have called metallica the godfathers of metal. I saw them in concert when they were in Aus last year (or early this year...) and i enjoyed the music alot (at the time my sister had pretty much just introduced me to their music). I dont like all of Metallicas music but i do enjoy most of the songs, most from their earlier years to.
Well im glad this is settled, especially without resorting to being childish.

OT we arnt all a crazy bunch of comically looking weirdos, its just most of us.
