President of the Oceans elections

Many of you may be unaware of the pitiful state that our oceans are in. But hopefully I will inform you.

The Oceans are a passive nation encompassing all the oceans. All people who dwell upon the ocean are Oceanites. And as an oceanite, you have a vote in the presidential election, which happens every year on September 24. While this may be short notice for some, in the ocean things change suddenly and many times multiple presidents will have had control.

Edit: I forgot to include that I (MrWhales) have the permanent position of Whale of the Sea.

What are the powers of the President of the Oceans? The answer to that is simple. The president is more or less a figure head. The winner of the election will receive a month of royalty or a kit of their choice.

All presidents must be at least a Vet. Winner is decided by popular vote. To nominate a candidate reply to this post and once it has been backed by one other person their name will be in the running come Sept. 24.

i cast my vote in favour of Admiral of the Fleet Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas George Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, KG, GCB, OM, GCSI, GCIE, GCVO, DSO, PC, FRS né Prince Louis of Battenberg.

this is because from 1954 until 1959 he was the First Sea Lord. :)

Mountbatten also has my vote, but I'd prefer that he be the Viceroy of the oceans, as opposed to the president.
