Oh wow, so many awesome artists here.

Here's something I made in gimp earlier this year for the game I'm making. Unfortunately I only have the dodgy version available (trying to recover the good copy atm). http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/1305/map1l.jpg
In the better version I've fixed up the water so it has the same look as the rest of the map.

Costume designs for the character Paul Atreides. The first set are ideas for formal attire on Caladan, the second are desert wear and ideas for how a stillsuit might look.

This one took me a lot longer emotionally and artistically. I give you "Minimalism 2."

You're losing your edge, Sneaky. Minimalism 1 was far superior to this plebeian work.

Now that is what I call true artistic talent. Some one give this man a metal.

These are almost as good as the famed 'Batmanwitheyseclosed' works of a couple months ago.

Entitled:Owl
or 'Owl of misery and boredom'
Owllll.jpg
This masterpiece was created during my hard slog of exams, in which I had 3 within 5 days. Created in less than 5 minutes, with my green pen that I use for revision (studying) I think it shows us several things:

1) It is an Owl.
2) It was drawn with a green pen.
3) I have no artistic talent.
4) I was very very bored.
5) It is one grumpy mo fo of an Owl.

Enjoy all the emotions and feelings that this Owl gives you, now and in the future.

Once I started reading 1-5 I started laughing my ass off. I learned things I did not previously know about the picture! I was not aware of how grumpy he was. Maybe this was your inner outlet of frustration form those damn exams.

But I especially loved 1) It is an Owl. THat is when I looked at the picture and saw "OWL". It all just became so obvious at that moment...

But it is actually surprizingly well done and detailed for a doodle. My doodles always turn out horrendous. The shape, ruffles, and feathers are sweeeeeet. I SHALL DOODLE NOW! We need a seperate doodle thread immediately. Only 1 color pen on paper doodles are allowed!

A short test run I made to see how easy it would be to key out the sky in Minecraft. No applications in mind, just thought it'd be fun to try.

I know that feeling. Been hooked on Morrowind again myself. I'll try to draw something up tomorrow or something, and post it on here. Probably going to be terrible, since I'm rusty. :/
