Yu-Gi-Oh : The future

Post by DistortedStu » 23 Aug 2013, 04:44

So if you're a yugioh player or know of the anime/games... OR if you like augmented reality, check this out.

The monsters in the series are hologram's projected via scouter like devices. I'd like you to view the following video:

Okay, so we have miniature monsters above the cards projected onto your phone. Not so much the giant creatures via scouter however, imagine this phone app on Google glasses. Holy shit. I've tried this out myself on some cards and i have to say its impressive. It can also project multiple cards at once, not just one at a time.

If this was implemented with attack/defense/death animations and options, it would be pretty sweet and one step closer to the anime. So guys, whats your opinion on this?

This the future of augmented games? 8-)

I started when i was (quick school year to age calculation) 12. I stopped for years and then my friend approached me (he never stopped playing/collecting) and said "lol lets play" . The geek inside couldn't say no.

Started up just for lulz, not super into it but i play occasionally. Forgot how much i enjoyed it when i was a kid.
