Humble Origin Bundle

Go, and you too can receive Dead Space 1/3, Mirror's Edge, Burnout Paradise, Medal of Honor, and Crysis 2 for as little as $1. All proceeds go to charities of your choice (or the humble bundle folks). EA has very generously decided to accept 0% of the profits, though they will nickel and dime the hell out of you with DLC.

If you want Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3, that'll bring your total to about $5.

If you don't, you get the soundtracks even if you don't beat the average.

All games can be redeemed on Steam, excepting Battlefield 3, The Sims 3, and Dead Space 3.

http://origin.com <--- go here to download Origin, now endorsed by spy as "not complete shit"

Also take a look at the weekly sale for charity: water, featuring Botanicula, The Showdown Effect, McPixel, Thomas Was Alone, and Amnesia (Amnesia is the pay-above-the-average game.)

You can slipt between the devs, charity: water, and the humble bundle folks.

A friend bought this for me on the first day. Only the $1 version though.

Make sure you do not give away your Origin codes if you plan to play on Steam. You still need them.

One assumes the "steam" activation code just puts the UI on top and actually directs you to Origin
