From seeing that .gif, this just looks like bait into some kind of Playstation vs Xbox flame war.

I WILL NOT buy a console with always online DRM. Just the same as I wont buy a game that has it.

It comes down to principle. It means tha im paying (soon) $70 to RENT a game. If they take down their servers for whatever reason, then I have to give the game back. What if I like single player? What if I have spotty internet? What if I like to travel? What happens when the game gets less popular and servers go offline? The answer to all those questions is...youre SOL!

Im a huge Xbox fan and I really dislike Sonys software. If Nextbox has always online, Ill just go to steam. Its cheaper, more reliable and the service is free. If I HAVE to be online to play games, Valve will get my money.
