Do any of you play Magic The Gathering? If you do, what's your favorite card? My favorite card is
Platinum Angel. I have 2. Anything else related to Magic The Gathering should go in this thread.

You want me to choose a favorite card? Well, being a recent player, my favorites will be recent, so... I'll have to say Ob Nixilis, The Fallen. He's super OP if you combo with a Marsh Flats or the like.

Oh god, don't remind me about Magic. I got out of that because it was costing me too much.

I just started playing because there is a club in my school. I am expecting a large amount of magic cards tommorrow as it is my birthday, but for now my favorite cards are Conqueror's Pledge and Armament Master. The reason? Both are in a white deck of mostly Kors and Artifacts-equipments. Armament Master is a Kor that for every equipment equiped to him, all Kors you control gain +2/+2. Conqueror's Pledge is a Sorcery that gives you 6 1/1 Kor creature tokens, or if you kick it 12 1/1. So basically playing Armament Master and Conqueror's pledge with a cheap artifact will allow you to wipe out your opponet in only a few turns. Also, with my other decks, it is mostly this. Except for of course the going to bed part.

Thanks! I got some nice cards, but I haven't gone through them... Oh, and I started making some unique creature counters today...

Nomads Assembly would work quite well with your white kor soldier deck.
It has rebound so it would cast twice. How it works is you get a 1/1 kor soldier token for every creature you control that is on the battlefield. Then on your next upkeep you can cast it again for free. Another good card though its has a global affect is Coat of Arms.


Right now I am working on making my poison deck type2 legal I want to try it out in a tourney to see how well it can do.


Oh and my fav card is Desolation Angel here kicker is awesome slows the game right down.

I've recently started playing MTG, and my favourite card is the Etched Champion, 2/2 Metalcraft When there are 3 or more artifacts on the field, Etched Champion gains protection from all colours.
I combine this with equipment artifacts like Bladed Pinions (Target gains first strike and flying), Accorder's Shield (Target gains +0/+3 and vigilance) and Darksteel Axe (Darksteel Axe is indestructible. Equipped creature gains +2/+0) in order to make him extremely hard to get off the field.
Asides from artifacts, my deck consists of red and blue cards with Metalcraft to really badger my opponent. I hardly ever win though; my friend Alex has a blue deck with like a million cards with the cancel effect so I never get my cards out

Yeah blue is quite annoying. There are a few cards that are red based that cannot be countered. Like Combust.

I have a new favorite card now: Kargan Dragonlord, such a wonderful card! If you can keep him alive he's a force to be reckoned with.

man... about 10 years ago i had a Blue Red Black deck focussed on Dragons... gooood times.

i got out of it because... i got bored.

jace the mindsculpter is troll. infact he is so troll that he got a temp-ban (legit).
my favorite card is hero if bladehold i have 4 and i just get like 20 3/3 tokens out and throw them at my oponent >:)
i dont play as much cause the local tornements are at the markets...on sunday...at 10:00 am
