Oh sorry I have not gotten to get the chance to make any kind of a sample but I'll work on one when I have time.
Also some ideas, You can have different armor, like light armor that makes you faster, stealth armor that makes you harder to spot, heavy armor that makes you, duh, slower. then again, I'm not sure if I should be working on this because I would just make everything realistic and thus, lame.
It needs to be about, 20% cooler.

Having just an option between light and heavy would be nice. Heavy could have increased health, and light increased speed (So you don't have to rewrite your coding to include armor).

Well, in character customisation, you could have the option for what armour to wear? Light armour, heavy armour, helmet, etc? I dunno.

It is quite good. Is it on newgrounds by any chance?

Nah, my games are on a pretty small scale. Perhaps I could work on spreading the sequel around a bit more. If I sent my games to tonnes of game sites, it may get hosted?

I think you have done a very good job with the game, The A.I, Destructive terrain and base features were all very good.

I have no experience in coding so I wouldn't know how long these would take but I have some ideas:

Revamped Graphics (I believe that the game should have a bit more colour in the levels)
Powerups (Land Mines, Sprint, Cloak, Teleport, Barrier Making)
Head Customisation
More Weapons (there could be power weapons that you have to find and pickup)
Natural Arenas (A Jungle, Forest, Artic)
Hazards and Explosive Barrels
Online Multiplayer (I think this would be the hardest)

You could perhaps get into programming language and try and learn Python or Java.
This would be harder but it would increase the capabilities of your game,
Tutorial: http://docs.python.org/tutorial/

Or if you want to try some other freeware game making:
http://www.ambrosine.com/resource.html

But then again I have no experience with any of these things so sorry if I come off a bit ambitious

Thanks Undead! The software I'm working with at the moment uses a programming language... this entire game is in code :P

Thanks for your suggestions, too, and for taking the time to find those resources.

Oh, well then this must have taken ages to make, I can only hope that I can achieve something like this.

which programming language do you think is the easiest and if you can could you point me to a tutorial?

This was made in Gamemaker actually. It's good to start off with - no code if you don't want to. And the interface and programming language is pretty forgiving.

That's pretty cool.

Things I like:
I really like the map editor.
I like the game in general.

Things I'd like to see:
More blocks to choose from (wood boxes, just like weak blocks but with a different texture, for example).
Lighting (so like a lamp or something would be another block)? I don't know how hard that would be, though..

OK, I'm getting started on a 3D multiplayer remake of HAVOC. Big focus on customisable weapons and the world editor. The world will be a voxel world, similiar to Minecraft. I'm thinking textures similiar to the facilities in Portal. But all graphics will be really simple, as before.

For weapons, a hesitant preliminary list has emerged:
Assault Rifle - fires a 3 round burst;
Battle Rifle - single shot semi-auto; the marksman weapon of the game;
Submachine Gun - full auto weapon light-weight weapon;
Heavy Machine Gun - full auto weapon; perhaps needs to be 'mounted' before firing
Pump-Action Shotgun - chick chick BOOM; reload one by one; buckshot or slugs
Rapid-Fire Shotgun - as above, but higher tempo;
Akimbo - select two weapons; any combinations of a Handgun, Revolver, Machine Pistol, Sawn-Off Shotgun;

So a total of 10 weapons. Weapons will also have attachments for a number of slots. Generally, the slots will be TOP (e.g. Reflex Sight, Iron Sight, Telescopic Sight, Thermal Sight), MAG (e.g. Regular Extended Magazine, JSP Magazine, FMJ Magazine, Regular Dual Magazine, Slug Box Magazine, Shot Drum Magazine), BARREL (e.g. Foregrip, Muzzle Brake, Suppressor, Sling, UB Grenade Launcher, UB Shotgun, Shortened/Extended Barrel).

And also, you'll be able to get some equipment (this will be under-barrel GL or S if you've selected it as a weapon attachment). Equipment include HE Grenades, Stun Grenades, Flash Grenades, Remote Explosives, Triggered Explosives (i.e. trip mine).

If you have any ideas for weapons, attachments, equipments, please post suggestions!!

I saw "Last post by: Blackadder51" and was thinking "No, black - strippers won't be in-game." :D

But considering you gave a srs suggestion - I wasn't sure about including a full sniper weapon. But since I've started thinking "add ADS?", the bolt-action sniper will likely make it in. Slow fire rate, but extreme damage.

The crossbow is less likely, but it's a possibility. It seems to be cropping up a lot in recent games.

Any ideas for attachments, further customisations? I don't want to steal too much from mainstream FPSs, but perks and killstreaks and more adaptable loadouts are attractive options... what do you think?

I like load outs, kill streaks.... uuugh

Crossbows are always fun, think of it like another sniper weapon.

Apparently, telescopic and reflex sights are used, according to wiki. And you can 'silence' the crossbow to a degree, but such attachments would reduce damage caused by the bolt, I suspect. Maybe there isn't too much point in this game. Also an Attached Quiver - the bolts would be stored immediately under the weapon (instead of on the person of the soldier) so reloads would be quicker.

Could potentially include another 'future' weapon set? I'm not sure about this though. I want everything to 'fit' together, if that makes sense? Give ideas: are you talking about novelty weapons, Ratchet and Clank style?

I updated the first post with some more information, updated the lists of equipment, attachments and weapons.

When this is launched, I may need help with advertising, getting the word out. If you're on a forum, have a blog, a webpage, a game review site, whatever, that can post about this game, could you say so? With an online game, you want a large community of players behind it.

Also, I talked to my dad about webpages, servers, databases, etc. Everything I want to do is possible. I just need to get an exact list of features together, and he'll help me out with hosting everything and putting together .php scripts and mySQL databases! Thankfully, he too is a computer wizz :)

And that is the first screenshot of the game engine. I've got the world data structures and models, move and collisions, and basic graphics and lighting in!

Perhaps add a few splashes of color here and there, if your engine supports it. I'd have to actually play the game to suggest anything...
