PSN is down. Prepare for the Apocalypse.
Yep, it's true. PlayStation Network has gone down, and will probably be down for the next day or two according to Sony officials. Based on what an article I read stated, the downtime is caused by hackers other than Anonymous getting into the PlayStation Store, hacking it, and eventually bringing down the PSN networks.
This is clearly a sign of the Apocalypse, with the previous sign being Justin Beiber. Untill PSN comes back online, I'll be playing a cubic buttload of Oblivion. No Bad Company 2 for a while. Damn hackers...

The GlaDOS-skynet Hybrid initative is proceeding as planned, soon the live network will fall, as reddit has as already.

Hehe, I never, ever used PSN when playing on my PS2 (yeah, I know it's different and easier with PS3 now, but still) The games were far too good to need anyone else.

That's probably more Ratchet & Clank's doing than the PSN though.
I love that game.
I love that game.

He's ancient and forever.
He burns at the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe.
And... he's wonderful."

I don't know where you get your info from, but the Anon Hack was done about a week or 2 ago, so thats old news.
As for the current outage, it's not Anon's fault, they even came out to deny it. Sony also said they didn't know the real cause of the problem and they were investigating it , "including the possibility of targeted behaviour by an outside party", and thats just because with the previous Anon Attack, they might of thought at first that it came from them.
So right now, there's no attack, its just a simple hick-up from Sony, who's trying to fix it as we speak.

Playstation Chairman has now stated that a file was found inserted into the servers that basically said that Anon was behind it. Also, it has now been proved to have been an attack.Laptop_mini wrote:I don't know where you get your info from, but the Anon Hack was done about a week or 2 ago, so thats old news.
