Guild Wars 2 Escapecraft guild

For all of you who have Guild Wars 2, it is an amazing game. I'm addicted to it.
As I haven't seen a post with the same content, I'm planning on starting an Escapecraft GW2 Guild (permission needed) so we can all go on WvW together and stuff or something.

On topic question, curiously, what's so great about Guild Wars 2? The most derogatory comparisons I have heard from it are things along the lines of "It's another WoW".

I played GW2 during an open beta weekend before release, and I found myself playing it exclusively "because its a free weekend". I stopped once I realized I was just not having any fun at all.

Some games occupy my thoughts such that I literally can't stop thinking about them; FTL was like this. I had completely forgotten about GW2 almost immediately after I stopped and did something else.

I don't know about it being another WoW, I just know that I enjoyed GW1 a bit when I played it at a friends, so I wanted to try this one out. Mostly liked GW1 because it was based a lot more on figuring out a great combination of skills to use, instead of having a higher level. Also, I was thoroughly entertained when my friend Hayden did a mission or whatever with him as a summoner, and 4 other summoner bots. The screen was filled with undead creatures.
