A Second Attempt (Poll)

Well, the last RPG I attempted didn't garner the attention I had expected (probably because, in the words of the very wise Haxxorzd00d, "I could just play Red Dead Redemption instead"), and although I would have really liked to carry out its plot, I suppose it'll have to wait for another day. I'll leave it kicking around the forums in case more people decide to join up, or if anyone wants to read what's developed so far.

I'm still itching to run one of these, so I ask you, Escapecraft, which type of RPG would you be most likely to actively participate in? I'd love to have a good number of people participating in the next one.

I cannot decide if I want to run another poll between the top three choices (currently Post-apocalyptic, Futuristic/Sci-Fi, and Medieval/Medieval Fantasy) or if I should start to work on the thread after this poll ends.

So am I. And I don't even know why I included Futuristic/Sci-Fi; they're not really my type of RPG and they lend themselves far too much to powerplaying. I'll gladly settle for whatever you guys choose though.

Medieval Fantasy is more than likely prone to all sorts of powerplaying, wouldn't say the same for a nonfictional Medieval RPG though.

It's easier to regulate a Medieval Fantasy when it comes to powerplaying, in my opinion at least. People come into a Sci-Fi thread expecting to be some Neil Armstrong with fucking miniguns for eyes and a supersuit the size of the sun; the same is true for a Medieval setting, I think, but it's easier to get people to tone it down to something mundane.
