Re: Fantasy RPG
Easily fixed, although it doesn't change anything. The orc who was in range to attack you is still gonna be in range. Either take the hit or hope Tehbeard kills him first. A bandit's max damage is only 37 though, so you'll survive either way. Wildwill is the one to be concerned about.

Re: Fantasy RPG
healing Windmill wont achieve anything now. they can remove all our healing in roughly 2 hits and then have a few left to murder him with.

Re: Fantasy RPG
Tehbeard still has 120 mana. That's enough for 5 heals, 6 if he's willing to sacrifice 5 hp. That's almost enough to bring the entire party up to full health.

wait... we can cast multiple heals in 1 turn?Jake55778 wrote:Tehbeard still has 120 mana. That's enough for 5 heals, 6 if he's willing to sacrifice 5 hp. That's almost enough to bring the entire party up to full health.

Re: Fantasy RPG
does that mean i'm not able to cast wound while heroicly cowering behind the rock?Jake55778 wrote:Tehbeard still has 120 mana. That's enough for 5 heals, 6 if he's willing to sacrifice 5 hp. That's almost enough to bring the entire party up to full health.
Re: Fantasy RPG
You can cast as many spells as you like. But each one reduces your movement by one, and the mana cost increases exponentially. Once you're out of mana it starts draining your health instead.Jake55778 wrote:Heal is only 10 mana. Given that two party members are on the brink of death it might be worth casting mulitple times. Just remember that it costs one movement point per use.vallorn wrote: also i move forward 1 and right 1 then cast Heal on taint.
(10 mana for one use, 25 mana for two uses, 45 mana for 3 uses, 60 mana for four uses etc)
You could. But that would only hit one orc, an it would be impossible to get a kill. There are 4 orcs in range of Wildwill, 7 if you count the archers. His only chance to survive that would be to heal, or have his defensive stance ability kick in and block 6+ attacks (the odds of me rolling that many 6s in a row are roughly 45,000 to 1).Tehbeard wrote:does that mean i'm not able to cast wound while heroicly cowering behind the rock?Jake55778 wrote:Tehbeard still has 120 mana. Plus the rock disappears next turn.

Re: Fantasy RPG
Okay. But you don't have enough mana. It would drain 10 hp. Just to warn you.vallorn wrote:fine then i also cast Lightning Bolt at the orc bandit Beard Cowered at.
Also because you picked the spellbook instead of a staff, have no mana potions, and can't learn meditate yet, once you're out of mana you have no way to regenerate it or deal damage. You're stuck having to choose between being a very flimsy meatshield, or casting spells that drain your (very limited) life.

its lose 10 Hp to melt the orcs face or face close combat. no choice.Jake55778 wrote:Okay. But you don't have enough mana. It would drain 10 hp. Just to warn you.vallorn wrote:fine then i also cast Lightning Bolt at the orc bandit Beard Cowered at.

Wait a second people. You've all aready had your turns, we were just waiting on tehbeard.Iron_Fang wrote:step forward 1 then shoot the undamaged orc, i hope milo attacks the chief
If you cast multiple spells in a single turn, then each one costs 50% more mana per spell. So lightning bolt, which costs 30, would cost 45 if it's your second spell that turn. Since you only have 35 mana the extra 10 would be taken out of of your HP.vallorn wrote:wait a moment Jake
