Jesus Christ - Forgiveness Booth

Post by Zinrius » 23 Jun 2011, 13:22

I believe we should all join in faith and post here if you've sinned and want Jesus Christ to personally forgive you and promise to repent and accept him as your lord and savior.

Jesus, will you forgive me ?

Is atheism a sin? If so I'll need some forgiveness for that.
I also do the whole taking god's name in vain thing sometimes.

Silly Vallorn... just to add to your religious education, having faith in Jesus does not make you a Catholic. I refer you to the entire realm of Protestantism. Go to Wikipedia, young man, Go!! (Happy Reading!!)

I have destroyed civilisations, enslaved, extorted, raped, pillaged, plundered, violated, expelled, philandered, pilfered, filched, expunged, purged, debilitated, deconstructed, defenestrated, dislocated, broken, truncated, perforated, forced, tortured, ripped, cracked, debased, devalued, instigated, murdered, slaughtered, damaged, deforested, defoliated, bombed, violated some more, exploded, denigrated, prostrated, dented, democratised, shredded, and basically sinned my worth.

I'm not sorry.

Yabai, how would you know if you look like Jesus if no pictures were ever found of his. But if you judged him based on how people probably wouldve dressed in that time he would have dark olive skin, a shaggy beard, not been tall but not short, and many other characteristics. Look like you at all?
Oh and I've noticed that so far only aethists and people making a joke of all their sins have posted so here's a start. I have been a Christian my whole life and I admit that I'm a sinner and god knows that. So yeah I guess first Christian post =)

Well i do have long hair and did have a beard, so i bear a passing resemblance. I used to be christian, but based on a few different reasons i'm now an agnostic/atheist. I figure the most important person you need forgiveness from is yourself mostly, christian or not.

Anyway, I was given £2 when I was very little to go get some buns, then I spent it all on 200 penny sweets: Ate several, my guily consciounce took over and I took them back to try getting buns with the change. They had to count the WHOLE bags and I ended up JUST being able to buy buns.

Oh wait, I was meant to have £1.50 change.

I have an awesome link for you, here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization
Read the first part... in fact let me just get it for you. "Civilization (or civilisation) is a sometimes a blah blah blah..." who cares... it says both spellings are correct.

See, this is why we have a rule on the forums about "correcting" spelling done by others... its to prevent people from being rude... and to prevent people from looking rather silly when they "correct" something that is not wrong in the first place.

Thankfully you were already corrected and notified of the rule about not jumping on people for their spelling and grammar.

However, I would also like to point out that it is very, very easy to tell when a player is trying to one-up me when they (often erroneously) correct something I've written. I'm assuming correcting the guy who is supposed to correct people somehow makes you look good.

I might as well say here (and this applies to other players): stop doing it. I don't make a habit of correcting what others write unless in an official capacity, and even if I did misspell something, it doesn't make you look any smarter for pointing it out and I sure as hell won't be bothered by the fact that I made a mistake.
