tanisjihanis wrote:Venomm recently suggested something to me. He has come into the possession of several fortune III picks and expects to be able to get more easily as he will be smelting huge amounts of cobble over the next few weeks for his palace. The suggestion is that Project Managers of branchscape would be lent out a fortune III pick for their personal use on the condition that a portion (say 1/3rd) of the dia mined with it went to the branchscape vault for projects.

Who is interested in this offer?
i was trying to keep it a secret, but i guess its out now so i better clarify a few things. i have ONE fortune III pick (my personal one) and i am working on getting more, as all the mining and stone smelting for the palace is giving me lots of exp. Once i get maybe 2 new ones, ill open up the little area for the fortune picks and for submitting the diamonds. I'm thinking i put it in the vault somewhere, but where ever it is, im gonna have a book and quill with rules that everyone has to read. I hope that with this system, both br, and those who have access to the (project managers and above, EXCEPT M477 CUZ WE ARE AT WAR >:D) become rich with diamonds, and emeralds when the new world comes out.

-EDIT-
as for how to help out, er... i you get a fortune III pick i guess you can give it to me? Otherwise the best way is o feed me exp by donating me coal and cobble. :D

Ttw, they were each like an hour apart and about completely different things. Its when you say something, and 5 minutes later post again about the same thing, and then again where its annoying. And trovo, if i could edit it why would i have asked seru to do it in the first place?

Bohoo, when we did the rollback after we updated I lost 16 level 30 Enchanted picks, that was a big fuuu.

Okay, Farmscape work.

Frame Work
We need a ton of nether brick.
7560 + 9500
The two walls that I have not even started on yet will need 268 stacks of Nether Brick to get done... and then plus the two other walls that have had some small work done, but they most likely will need almost need 200 stacks for them also.

  • Melon: Done.
  • Pumpkin: Done.
For some reason the sand bugs and stays floating in the air... So this might be a problem, depending how often this happens, so some might need to sometime take a look at this and replace the sand... unless we can get an admin to take a look at it and maybe we understand why this happens (SERU GO GO GO)
  • Sugercane: Not Done.
Made a mistake with Sugercane floor 2, need to lift the whole floor up one block.
    Material need
    • Glowstone: 1269 or 20 stacks
    • Pistons: 1675 or 26 stacks
  • Shroom: Not Done.
    Material need
    • Red Shrooms: 8 Stacks per floor
    • Brown Shrooms: 8 Stacks per floor
  • Oak: Not Started.
  • Birch: Not Started.
  • Spruce: Not Started.
  • Jungle: Not Started.
  • Wheat: Not Started.
  • Nether Wart: Not Started.
  • Cocoa Bean: Not Started.

1. At first i saw that u beeded netherbrick and was like why the hell is farmscape being made out of netherbrick. Then i remembered u were making it.
2. Jungle trees are virtually impossible to successfully farm. A huge thing in tree farming is that u get enough saplings to replant. Not sure if u have figured out how to solve this.
3. If u intend to compete with the frost tree farms i will be forced to double the size of my famrs :P

  • 1. Indeedy.
  • 2. It works kinda fine, so far I have gotten more saplings then I have used to plant.
  • 3. Do not plan to compete with the Frost tree farms. Not with the tree farm in Farmscape at least

Here is what you do: cut down at least 3 rows of trees at a time, stand there and wait for the leaves to decay or break them yourself, you should end up with enough to replant plus more.

Do not even need to wait, just do as you say and cut down at least 3 rows, take a run and collect all saplings, then repeat.

Depends on how fast u r going. If you are even just using a non enchanted dia axe then yeah, you don't need to wait. But if you have efficiency then you sometimes do depending on the speed.
