DEEPHAVEN

now a part of Branchscape

Just a place for comments on what I/you've done, suggest things, and just have a chat.
I am allowed in your plots, and can, judiciously, take stuff if it is for the aid of the town, e.g. glass, stone,

I'm also happy to accept ideas from owners of other underwater towns.

AND NOW:
Deephaven is a fast expanding settlement under the seas in North East Borjan.

The town follows the normal rules, but residents can build as high/deep as the want, and only the width of one side is restricted (7 blocks) (this is within reason, no HUGE shuff. The Town has cactus, sugar cane, wheat, melon and pumpkin farms, with an underground tree farm..
Deephaven is completely self-sufficient, and will soon have larger farms on land, possibly replacing those in the current town.
There is a ridiculously unreliable mob grinder now.

To find the town, take Borjan's North railway to the Brotherhood crossroads. Here go East till you reach the blue tower at the corner. From here you should see a wooden pathway to the East; follow this path to the DeepHaven landclaim. The underwater area is past the lighthouse (now with time controlled lighting). You will then be allocated a plot. All victims players are welcome.

We also have a wiki page, with all the details I could remember at the time. http://escapecraft.wikispaces.com/Deephaven

Yeah, it won't be al of that, However, the place which Silva (congrats on Big Build) and I have found is not where it was intended.
I'm not sure if we should stick with the pretty cool area we've found, or go to the EPIC place intended.

EDIT: Turns iut it consisted of sheer pine wooded cliffs. So this place seems the best bet.

Good to see that Deephaven is progressing and doing well :)
I assume you will be updating your OP; it seems to be out of date considering it says it will be next to New Bucks :P
Also, if you edit posts it's often more useful. Just a suggestion.

Out of interest, how many residents do you have? Seemed reasonably busy when I lived near it.

I think 12, that's how many I have down, but not many have been on for quite a while :( seems to just be me and Alex. I didn't edit that first post to keep it separate from the intro. I'll update the latter right away :D

Yay. Just saying, anyone wanting to see the new spot for DeepHaven, follow the Borjan railway 2 stops north then 2 east, then travel due east from the station.

Garrett, the server will be updated to 1.2 when all of the necessary plugins are updated. The update will be announced on this website or via the Escapecraft Facebook group. In the meantime, either use webchat to talk to people or use google to find an old .bin folder to downgrade with.

MCNostalgia's already up to date, so you can use that.

I am currently testing a new mob spawner design, which also produces XP

The maps are updated!!!!!
I now have a map of the New DeepHaven landclaim, and the wooden square in the ocean is where the underwater town will go. Can the new restaurants be underwater....?

UPDATE
I have a debit card in the post, so will soon be able to pay for it myself, unless Silva14 gets his first!
Well, I like the Santander postal service.... But I like RBS's postal service too.... Which is better...?

Santander wins! DeepHaven will move on Friday (my no homework evening) or maybe Sunday!
:D finally! :D
TODAY'S THE DAY! <--- that was 1 week ago

TODAY'S THE DAY, AGAIN
DeepHaven has moved to Borjan! F*CK YES!!!
I would like to thank MKindy for moving it so professionally and awesomely, and Wokka for accepting my money.

UPDATE
Okay, move complete, now the town is back in progress, with some of the Fyran seabed (carried with town) cleared, and an area set aside for a CUT restaurant. The Brothehood forward recruiting base, which was left behind, as it seems to have been below Riff's lighthouse (it's been cleared out in Fyra), will be the graveyard (how much height does it need?). Unfortunately there is a nearby town apparently solely populated by griefers, but the whole landclaim is a city cuboid now, and even they should be able to notice (they seem able to confuse RockBeefChest with robipodsupreme), so that should be sorted.
MKindy has done a great job of making the old site look cool, with a nice ruined effect. Any residents who can be bothered should privatise any chests they don't want to risk other residents riffling through, so be warned.
Aside from that, once we have the CUT restaurant and graveyard done, and any other problems sorted, residents will hopefully be coming back again :D

EDIT: how deep should the plots go, think you? Currently they can go back as far as the residents want, down to bedrock, but that will almost certainly cause problems. I want to keep them big, but what do you think it should be?

Good News!!!!
We have a nether portal, which comes out about 30 blocks from a Nether Fortress (6045,60,2202), and we've claimed it. Woo, netheriness!

Robi, could you please add a rail station of some sorts to the town so that we have something to connect the empire rail to?

EDIT: I've made a station, which you are free to criticise, and I'll continue working on it.

Yes, if u want to leave a sign for me outside a nice plot, I can come and start building soon.

Ok. I'll put the plot plan in the OP, to make it easier

Your plot is between the ladders, inclusive, so I'd advise building the walls back from the ladders, and having within that as space.
Don't build above sea level, go as deep as you want, within reason. You can go back a fair distance, but probably not more than 30 blocks, because I'll be expanding soon, as I have only a couple of empty plots :D
Have funtimes and many a shenanigan!

I hereby declare myself bored of this soggy mess, and relinquish command to Silva14, to do with as he sees fit. Within reason. I may visit occasionally.
