Beorn and Tulonville

Post by Tulonsae » 07 Jun 2011, 18:05

Hey Derigin, I was thinking I'd put the road from the bridge along the shore leading toward the southern hill where I'm going to put my unbuilt 4th tower.

And as for that house Suzzy gave me, it's just a shell. I was thinking about turning it into a dining and dance place - what do you think?

Why not just message him? That's what the feature is for.

I don't mind this, 697134002. It could be the group thread for our towns.

Tulon, those sound like good ideas. I will help you with Suzzy's place once I'm back on the server tonight.

I was intending this to be the group thread for our area.

And, I thought that other people in the area might or might not be interested. This way, they can read it if they want.

I've got the road to my side pretty much done - at least to the beach house. I checked earlier today with Badalligator to make sure the place I'm putting it is ok with him since it goes through the edge of his landclaim. He showed me where he wanted it, and I put it there.

The bridge looks great. Wonderful design by Derigin.

I'm going to take a little while to gather more supplies and think about the dining/dancing house design. I'll ask a mod to add Derigin to the cuboid next time I'm online.

The road to my area is done - to my estate and Badalligator's front gate (per the way he wanted it).

I just thought of some ideas for Suzzy's Place.

To go with the dine/dancing idea, tonight I wouldn't mind creating a nice looking deck around the first floor of the exterior, make it outside dining. There could be a nice stage on the first floor as well. I have some cool design in mind for it.

Upstairs? More dining/cafe?

I'll be on tonight. I'll be on the chat periodically too.

I'll also update this thread with a more detailed look into Beorn soon.

That sounds good. (I had you added to the cuboid the other night.)

Tulonville is coming along.

Roads are built and named. Town hall is in progress. The swimming pool is done (mostly). The swing park is started. The oasis park is done. We have several new residents. The church is almost finished. The Founder's Fountain is done. The cactus farm is almost done. The wheat farm - one method of automation is complete. We'll be showcasing various wheat farm and sugarcane farm automation techniques.

Beorn is bursting at the seems. We have new residents. And it's become a "maze". Many players, even non-residents make use of the wonderfully large tree farm and other community services. And apparently, it's one of the "happening" places to be. More changes coming soon. And I'm personally looking forward to the new NW district (whose name I've forgotten), run by Aflycon.

I would like to bring up the situation with reval to an actual talk because despite beorn's original landclaim , reval isn't backing down as they have recently built a small wall next to the border and if this continue something bad might happen.

I hope that's the pretender lord you're talking about. If so, remember to specify.

Hmm... If you mean the lapis and glowstone cross, Bob built that - and I supplied the glowstone. I'll check it out when I login and see if there have been any other changes. When I last saw it, we needed to add some detail still.

I think we have to wait for Derigin for that. In the meantime, we're looking to put up a wall, 4 blocks across on the east side. This will deal with the mob and creeper issue - where they're spawning in reval and then jumping over into Beorn.

If you're referring to the obsidian, Derigin put that up as a boundary marker. It will be replaced by the wall.

Also we have built a platform to look over the fluttershy tower next to Tulonville saying it's not part of tulonville
