Could have been the nickname for someones downstairs region for all i knew, i might look into the game (probably wont)

IDEA: after re-reading this thread:http://www.escapecraft.net/phpBB3/viewt ... 68#p111968 someone should go make an embassy, but i was wondering, are we still going to use our old tesseract embassy? Or should we hold another new embassy contest to choose a new, modern embassy to use? (this also gives all of us something to do)

How big do your embassies generally run?

Still need a response on the idea though, should we make a new embassy design?

Damn, Japan has a crazy ROTC program going on...

Once again, it is shown that Asians are indeed good at everything. Even synchronized putting-on of jackets.

I dont know how to say this... but ive been playing other games... I DIDNT MEAN FOR IT TO HAPPEN!! >_>
I also have a habit of needing to finish a game before i start another one... To give you an example time period of how long ill be, the other games ive been playing are Zelda, TP and fallout 3, game of the year edition ill return and finish the lighthouse sooner or later ._. (and knowing me ill have some crazy ass idea for a new project to bring us all back to) (also the only reason i started zelda during fallout 3 was because i got burnt from that!)

Lrn 2 M&B:warband, and if you can run it, get arma because it is epic and such, and skyrim is just skyrim and is good at getting people unbored.

Thinking of making a new user group, Basically a group of Escapia's most elite, insane, autistic/creative, and regularly online users who come together to work in Creative (maybe even survival sometimes) to make the most absurd, mindboggling and awe-inspiring structures. If we start on a project you need to be somewhat dedicated to it (no other side-projects (of course real-life and burn-out brakes come first))
If i do make this the name i have for it so far is Randco (Random's collaboration)

Or ill just make it a sub-group of the USSR.
If i do make this within the USSR it will probably be simply called the 'Build Group' or something. I want to put the emphasis back into coming together to build cool things and have fun, this will also be far more relaxed than Randco, you may build as much or as little as you like! (meaning dont bitch if you are doing heaps of work and others have done jack-all, its entirely your fault) This will be either creative or survival depending on what we all decide. If allowed i would also suggest being apart of the Build Group means you are apart of the true USSR, just living in a USSR town would not automatically classify you as a member of the USSR, unless you are apart of the Build Group.

So, thoughts? ( please no half assed 'this sounds cool or i dont like it' response, i want your honest opinion!) (This includes you Byroe!)

The problem is, anything we build no matter the scale or rarity of the material, we will be finished with it in a matter of days, and then what do we do? the problem is, everyone has everything, there is no reason to have a big group of builders anymore as one person usually has as much materials as ten old EC players back in the day. The only way i think this would work is if the world were reset, or if the 1.3 map had a separate inventory. if that were the case, we would have a reason to come together and work as we wont have everything anymore. Basically, its no fun building when our entire group is working on something that some guy and his goat, are able to build an exact replica of whatever we build in half the time because he already mined all the materials he would ever need 6 months ago.

How does a man and his goat finish a mega project before a group of about 20(?) people just because he has materials already, not to mention being 20 of us i would think we would have a lot more materials, and who cares who has materials or not? How does it stop us coming together to build something as a group of friends? (we can use our treasury for any materials anyway, or you can get them yourself, contributing as much or as little as you want) and what do we do when we are finished? Easy we play minecraft, ie BUILD MORE SHIT! :D Its all about playing minecraft in the most fun way possible, therefore creating and building huge things among friends and showing it off to people! (Materials also would not even come into this if we build in creative)

As I said before, we're a group that get's bored easily.

Many members, especially after a large project basically experience burnout. Eventually, after a while, we;ll all find are way back here and we might do something else.

I agree that a world with a separate inventory would be kind of neat. It's sometimes fun to start over.

It can be fun to start over, but i would rather use all of the materials we have now and create something epic then let all the time farming those materials go to complete waist.

Seems like the lot of you are still burnt out from minecraft. I will be back when you all return to Escapecraft, until then im going to do new things within the server, take leave from the ussr, i will be back though! Hope to cross paths with most of you during this time, bye for now. :)
