That's just amazing <3

I'm not as organized as Infesord. I Just build a tnt cannon and shoot away

But Im doing it mostly on the very top of the mountains that hasn't been touched yet. :) It's good fun.

We also have Smashdurdler using ION cannon powers somehere around there.

(Previous post re-posted due to assumption of players being unwilling to go back a page. -Mountbatten)

Update time!!

Wow, what a month!

Once again, HUGE work has been done, and I am really impressed with all who has been working on this. Some construction also got completed near white gold tower and over all it looks bloody good.

Also I have an important announcement to make, Infesord is the new official Foreman dude thing. Which means, that if you do not now were to go or to start of he shall show you. I am giving this title to saw a thank you for the massive work that has been done and still is done a daily basis. He shall also get something nice when the city is done.

Of course though I am not forgetting about all the other helpers, who log in each day and blow some more chunks away from the massive land mass. Again a massive thank you, this project would not be as far as it is with the help that we get on a daily basis.

The warehouse which was supposed to be moved by me is still there, and shall remain so until I get off my ass and do some work. :)

Invisible slimes are still a menace and I know for a fact our Admins and Mods are working very hard on finding a solution to remove them, Ill keep you updated on how that is going.

With the intro of weather we can also pull of some nice lightning shots as well =D

Official Foreman Dude Thing.... I like the sound of that! hehe.

But yeah, progress is coming along nicely. Currently I am working on the Southeast corner, Level 2. Right now it looks like a huge mess but in time it should be made ready for TNT clearing.

Another thing to note, If you have stuff on any of the Level 3 platforms (mostly in the Northwest), please try and move them down to level 2 somewhere or elsewhere so we can removed them. There is now plenty of space on the Northwest and Southwest, so long as you stay away from the Slime traps (whom are very annoying, but they hopefully shall be fired and evicted soon). It's simple work to remove platforms, but it shows the greatest progress after they are removed to see all that has been cleared.

Also, please save any and all Gravel for the future. Level 1 has some of the biggest and deepest Lava Pools in Minecraft, and we'll need all the gravel we can to fill em up to remove them.

Hmm, from one bronie to another I'll gladly do that instead. I have so much Iron I don't know what to do with it anyway (I must have 8 Stacks of Iron Blocks, which works out to about 4600+ Iron which is about 1500 buckets, lol)

Im to busy to help with construction, but once the mob tower I have planned for haven, it will kill around 5 mobs/second, including peaceful mobs. So I can supply armor, bacon, arrows, bonemeal, feathers, and TNT. It should be done in, maybe, 2 weeks to a month.

Edit: the name Haven has already been taken. Name change is underway.

by removing them if they try to deal damage. Also I have reenabled mob spawning in IC since it was disabled to prevent new slimes from spawning. That means that new slimes will spawn, but they can't hurt you.

Oooooooooo For he's a jolly good fellow! For he's a jolly good fellow!

Yeah, Mydrox you are my hero. This has been the biggest thing griping me about Imperial City and Minecraft in general. Its too bad slimes can't hurt us anymore as you say because they were an interesting mob to fight, but slimes you can't see, hear or kill is probably the silliest thing in a game I have ever encountered. That and Notch thinking about slimes spawning in whatever light level was very shortsighted, as the whole concept of monster existing is because of the darkness and how we should be afraid of night time or when you come across a dark and unexplored cave.

I shall begin checking and dismantling all the Slime Traps everywhere in IC. They are unsightly and with them gone it should give everyone the news about this new update even if they don't check the forums.

Once again, way to go Mydrox! :D :D :D

Minor Update: Level 2, Southeast Corner Cleared! All thats left of Level 2 is the Northeast corner, which I will start preparing for excavation next (once I remove the massive Level 3 SE corner platform/roof)

Also I believe Milo_Windby reported in the chat that the Imperial City Arena is done (more or less). I'll have to check it out at some time.

Other things to note are about getting another way for people up at the warehouse or so a quick way to the bottom of IC, as the previous tower that used to do this has been removed at the bottom to make way for the previously mentioned arena.

As well, warriormax has a bunch of boxes still up around the Northwest corner, level 3. They are attached to the little mine cart system that has been setup around there. If anyone sees warriormax come online, remind him hes got to move them. If worse comes to worse mods can just smash em and reimburse his cobblestone inside (I'm pretty sure thats all he has inside, and he wanted the cobble, not the diamonds from the exchange system)

Regarding NE level 2, it's currently back to about z-100, at least up to the ion cannon scar. I've run a tunnel on level 4 with a lift up & some tracks heading back towards the storage complex. I'll start moving my boxes up in the next day or so.

Y I No Use Old Tower is because
A) The ones that are easy to get to spew them out to slowly and
B) There are none in fyra, so this should attract guests and
C) it's a fun project to make a good mobtower like I did in SSP and
D) it involves peaceful mobs for unlimited bacon.

Hey guys, new poster long time miner. I was lurking around for an elder scrolls themed server for a while. Back in the times of alpha I played on a roleplaying server that was somewhat oblivion themed. The guys there tried their best but there simply want enough manpower to make everything work before the trolls got there...I was wondering if it was possible to join your team to help with the building of imperial city. Ive read through the thread and hope that I get the gist of how things work around here. Hopefully you will give me a chance to prove myself.

Alright cool. Sounds like a fair deal to me. not sure if the poster above me is right or not about the excavating business (I will not question anybody, especially not a forum veteran :D) but I might as well get started right now playing on your other servers.

BTW thanks for such a quick response!
