I went to Venom's palace today, to ask him if he would come see something I finished for Br. I went inside, and Venom locked me in his palace, and wouldn't let me out. He said if I jumped I would die. But I escaped with 1/2 a heart left. He chased me to the egde of his cuboid, and set me on fire. I was about to die, but i broke some ice and jumped in the water. Then he chased me all the way to my private tree trying to set me on fire again. I went inside and he followed I ran back out, and locked myself in the shops storage room. He told me my private tree was on fire, so i checked and it was a trap.

But still after all that I SURVIVED.

And by the way venom, I DIDNT enjoy that, speaking I had 2 stacks of sand, 2 iron, 1 stack of cobble, and 7 DIAMOND ON ME!

(I talked to a mod and that is AGAINST the rules if You didn't know that)
So please dont try to kill me again.

yea 1. i got in trouble for that
2. u said u werent telling and i made a 20 dia apology chest for u (which is now gone)
3. i told u many time to leave my palace which u didn't
4. this is not going to be a chain disscussion anymore to aviod further arguements, ive said sorry MANY times and
was my understanding u were OK and werent gonna make a big deal
5. and since i seem to get in trouble a lot when i talk to you, i think ill be limiting any contact with you unfortunatly

In the Settlements and Their Rules thread, it says that can only be done if under extreme circumstances. I take it not beautifying it is not an extreme circumstances. Otherwise you have to wait 7 days (If it's ugly, i.e. cobble) or 14 days for whatever reason.

He isn't evicting her, he is taking over a project that she was doing. 2 completely different things. TTW was going to be "beautifying" br, aka making the town as a whole look nicer. Nowhere has anyone stated that her houses are ugly, or that she is up for eviction.

as i have stated, my stupidity is no reason to start a stupid arguement in the towns thread so if you want to talk about this do it somewhere else.

on another note,(for tanis and seru) since i cant be on today(obvous reason) most of what i wanted to accomplish for our little rent system today wont be done and i cant be on most of the next 2 weeks or so due to midterms as well as a little trip to harvard.

Holy. Mother. Of. God.

I don't even know where to start.

If it matters at all... I'm rather disappointed. If things ever escalate to this level again, please go to groupspawn untill you both cool down or call a mod.

Don't feel bad about bringing this sort of development to the forums. Indeed it is essential that I know about any conflicts like these so we can resolve them and prevent them from happening again.

Okay while I try and come up with someway of fairly reprimanding you two, let's try and return to branchscape life as normal. Venomm I would like an explanation as to why you are removing ftw from her beautification duties, as well as a nomination for another person to do it. I need you free for working on windwillow with me when you aren't working on your palace or the mobtower. Towha if you are removed from beautification duties, then I need construction on the post office to begin. Also, I need a mining team for the roots. I'm still setting the shape up but I need to know who is interested in helping with this project.

Apparently.

At any rate... Congrats on a trip to Harvard venomm, that will be fun!

Me and seru can try and sort out a system for rent while you are gone and then we will present it to you when you get back for any modifications and then put it into effect. There is no need to rush.

If your justifications for removing ttw from her post are sound, I move that we hire the landscapers guild.

well the posting nonsense doesnt really help, the damage is done and the mods wont take kindly to trying to change it, i had an idea for the rent which i can do tomorow, and despite my trip at the end of the week, my hotel has wifi so ill be on a bit. As for the lanscapeing, i have taken that and ogranization over anyways so i dont feel the need to hire them unless you really want to.

He received a two day tempban, on top of his warning for attempted homicide, for the following:
Yelling at Tothe, not taking responsibility for his actions and generally being a fool (going so far as to plead ignorance that killing people outside of PvP is against the rules).

Because of the fact that Ven has continued to act in the manner he did after this while on these forums, we have given him a short vacation from said forums so that he can think about his actions and how they affect others.

thank you for your time.

...

Okay, this is out of my hands.

For those interested in helping in the cavern project, here is how you can help:

When you enter the base of the main tree you will see this sign and a set of stairs going down.
2012-01-22_13.52.14.png
once down those stairs...
2012-01-22_13.52.19.png
Jump into the hole if you are ready to mine! There is no way back up right now though, so don't do it if you are lacking any materials that you think you might need. This works for me because I have ./home... Feel free to set up a lift of sorts.
2012-01-22_13.52.23.png
The job is simple.. at least for this main cavern. Simply mine down, striping away layers of stone like so:
2012-01-22_13.52.31.png
So that means just mining down inside the shape that I make. No mining outwards...
Happy mining!
