Re: Branchscape
I would just like to announce an exciting new service I'm starting up within the Branchscape empire, although it can only be as successful as there is demand for it. As a way of tying settlements of Branchscape together, I have founded the Lockchester Bridge Export Company; which will serve as a way to make item transport easier throughout the empire via enderchests! Basically, town owners within the empire can apply for an export office to be built within their town free of charge (I may look at expanding outside the empire if this catches on). Then, citizens can pay a small fee to have an enderchest set up in two locations (additional locations would cost a little extra). The town owner would get a cut from each chest purchased in their town's export office. The offices themselves are similar to the CUT eateries or hospitals in that they have a uniform look, although they do differ from one another in that each office's interior features that town's flag (provided its 3x5 or 4x5) as well as that of the BR empire. Anyways, I'm looking for feedback on this and curious to know if anyone's interested. I won't be able to start setting offices up for a week or two though as school's pretty busy right now.
Orange and white, but not quite right.
Re: Branchscape
I discussed with tanis about a bank that uses one ender chest (because they have separate inventories) in each for everyone to use, and there is one bank in each city. So there is easy transportation from city to city, but adding one in homes, and other stuff sounds like a good idea too.

tothewhat, removing villagers will not help, they will breed more. remove the doors, then they cannot breed more. THEN remove the extra villagers.

I haven't set up anything related to enderchests yet. I like this idea and would gladly have one set up in branchscape.

Re: Branchscape
I don't mean to barge in here or anything, but just wondering if that's a profitable idea. If you make installing these uniformed "Ender Chest offices" in houses more expensive than the cost to simply buy 8 obsidian and an ender pearl, then people will more then likely just place them in their houses themselves as opposed to having someone place one in your house for a price.

Re: Branchscape
@tanis: if nothing of the sort has been implemented yet I will definitely go through with it! And if what Big_C said about ender chests having separate inventories is true, then it'll actually be much easier to set up these stations that I originally thought! (also I can offer membership fees at a lower cost because it'll cost me less to make one ender chest per building as opposed to per person) Anywho, I'd be glad to go through with this if I have the OK from BR! I can get back to you later about what kind of dimensions I need for the building.
@invun: I am still working out the cost but I would make sure to offer the service at a fair price (I'm mostly charging at all to make up for the cost in materials that I'm using) but I would be sure not to make it too high so as to not be worth it.
@gannon: as long as there is interest and need, I would love to see this project through as well!

Rails to Yggdrasil are done for the most part. If anyone wants to use them, go to first north stop in tolteca, the rail to Ygg is there.

Checked out the dimensions for the export office, it requires a 9x10 plot.

Re: Branchscape
Are Branchscape lords allowed access to Br's nether fortress? If so, how can I get there? I need to gather mass amounts of netherbrick and glowstone for construction of the Flonneshire-Branchscape rail line.

Re: Branchscape
Access is most certainly permitted. You can get to the nether fortress through a portal at the south end of the main tree. As long as you leave the blaze grinder alone, you can mine any portion of the fortress.

Yep, most definitely. Just look up Branchscape or BRscape in the steam community groups ish section. It's an open group, so you should be able to just join.
