EC Worlds - General Overview and Introduction

Welcome to the EC Worlds!

We've put together a new batch of worlds for your player enjoyment. These include both older worlds and new worlds. And we are planning to add a couple of more for different playing styles.

Here's a general overview of the worlds we have now, which includes a brief summary of near-term planned changes.

Worlds

Hub - this is our main entry point to the EC Worlds and contains the main portals to the other worlds. It is also a creative world and you can go outside the Hub Building and build in creative mode. Each world has a portal back to the Hub, and you can get there by typing /hub.

Note that your creative inventory is separate from your survival inventory.

Magna - this is our latest survival world. It has a portal in the Hub on the main floor, and you can get there by typing /magna. This world has EVERY biome, but no Mansions within its borders.

Mining - this is our mining world. It has portals in the Hub on the main floor and in the Magna spawn, and you can get there by typing /mining.
This is a temporary world. Why temporary? Because it could be re-generated to allow players to mine new ores/blocks that Mojang releases, or if players stripped of too many resources. No permanent builds here please, because it could be wiped and regen'd at any time. Build temporary structures only for your safety. No regions are allowed here, but your chests will lock. Oh, and hardmode is enabled for the challenge. Other things are unique about this world, but go explore to find out!

Vildare - this world was created a few months, and several players settled there. It's mostly a world of taiga with a huge mesa and several other biomes. Its border is a bit smaller than the other worlds. We are not retiring it but we have closed it to new players. It has a portal in the Hub on the main floor, and you can get there by typing /vildare.

Horizons - this is an older world, and a favorite of many players. Some players continue to be active on this world. Others are slowly moving their inventories over to Magna. The world will be kept until 1 Dec 2018. But we encourage new claims in Magna. It has a portal in the Hub on the secondary portal floor, and you can get there by typing /horizons.

NOTE: All survival worlds share your survival inventory. The Hub world inventory is separate.

Puzzles - this is not actually a world, but a set of puzzles and games located on Horizons. We have a Puzzle Hub and it has a portal in the Hub and Horizons. (And you can also get there by typing /puzzles.) Type /puzzlelist for the entire list. We will keep the Puzzles maintained and add new ones as long as our Puzzle Master (ShadowCreator) continues to have time for that.

PvP - we do not have a PvP world, but we do have 2 PvP arenas on Horizons. One is located just west of the Horizons spawn and the other can be accessed via the Puzzles Hub.

TNA - this is an older world that we revived. Unfortunately, most of its claims expired and so some of it has been griefed and many of the players who built there are no longer active. Building is no longer permitted, and it will be removed/retired on 1 April 2018. Players with inventory that they want to move to a new world should contact staff for access to their stuff (soon!).

Set a retirement date for TNA - 1 April 2018 and Horizons - 1 December 2018. Once the dates gets closer, we'll do a formal announcement for each.
