Current Worlds - Horizons, Vildare, Magna

For those of you who have read the roadmap (in Announcements), you'll know that we're planning on setting up a new world.

What you may not know is that we're planning on keeping the existing ones. At least for the forseeable future. The new ones will be separate as far as inventory and items go, but you'll be able to go between them and chat with players on both sets of worlds.

So, the new worlds will be a fresh start (as mentioned in the roadmap).

In the meantime, we do have some issues with the current ones. And we're working on fixing them. You can post things you want fixed or changed or suggestions in this thread.

There is no particular roadmap for these worlds. Pretty much we fix things as time permits and we're inclined and as players request them.

Changes recently done.

The censor in the chat has been disabled.

The new blocks have been added for Bridges and Doors.

The world border for Horizon's End and Nether have been set to 4000 (same as Horizon). The borders for the end and nether for TNA and Vildare will be set sometime in the near future.

The claims feature of WorldGuard regions has been enabled. This means that there are currently TWO ways to create claims. Use (right click) a stick to see if something is claimed using GriefProtection (aka GP) and use a leather to check if something is claimed using WorldGuard (aka wg aka regions).

We'll be looking at consolidating into one claim system - regions. But that won't happen until we can safely migrate the GP claims to region and make sure the instructions for using regions are clear to everyone.

Various permissions are getting fixed. Let us know if you think there's a problem with yours.

Worldborders for TNA's End and Nether have been set to 4000 (same as overworld).

We are working on enabling the PvP arena.

Cauldrons have been enabled. We're using the same recipes as we had before.

Cauldrons - These are used to craft blocks that cannot normally be found in Horizons. For more basic information, look here: http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/CraftBook/Cauldron.
For cauldrons in Horizons, you need to use a shovel to stir your ingredients. The following are the active recipes:

Packed Ice
4 Ice Blocks = 1 Packed Ice Block

Mycelium
1 Red Mushroom + 1 Brown Mushroom + Dirt = 1 Mycelium Block

Podzol
1 Grass Block + 1 Mycelium Block + 4 Sticks = 1 Podzol Block

Lilypads
1 Vine + 4 Leaf blocks (any type) = 1 Lilypad

Sponges
1 Sand Block + 1 Gravel Block + 1 Leaf block (any type) + 1 Gold Block = 1 Sponge

Cobwebs
4 String + 1 Slimeball = 1 Cobweb

Dead Bush
1 Sapling (any type) + 1 Rotten Flesh = 1 Dead Bush

Iron Horse Armour
6 Iron Blocks + 1 Saddle = 1 Iron Horse Armour

Gold Horse Armour
6 Gold Blocks + 1 Saddle = 1 Gold Horse Armour

Diamond Horse Armour
6 Diamond Blocks + 1 Saddle = 1 Diamond Horse Armour

We have added permissions so you can now have multiple homes per set of worlds (e.g., Horizons, Horizons the End, and Horizons Nether are 1 set of worlds).

You can have 1 default home and 3 named homes.

You can also delete homes (in case you want to change your named homes around).

You can now switch between worlds for your home (use w:WORLD).

And the cooldown for the home has been removed.

Edit: We discovered a bug with home and the hub, so for now you cannot use home in the hub. Simply go through any of the portals and then use home.

The server rules (which are located at Horizons spawn) are now also in the /rules command.

The chat commands, including sending private messages, now work.

You will get a "ding" sound when someone sends you a private message.

You can turn this off with this command (that toggles the setting): /notify

We have now disabled the GP claim/protection system on Horizons. Existing GP claims have been converted to regions.

You can now use the region claim system to create and maintain your claim. Staff is available to help explain anything you need to know. Or they can setup a claim for you.

You can see your list of regions with: /rg list
And you can see information about a region with: /rg info <region_name>
If you don't supply the region_name, it will assume you want the one you're standing in.

After many attempts of using me as a guinea pig, Tulon has fixed pvp for the pvp arena in horizons, you may all now proceed to brutally murder each other as if it never broke.
