It isn't working. Fix it.

im assuming you mean the launcher isn't working for you. I believe if you use the windows command line it will work that way I don't know the command but some one mentioned it on the forums.

Needs more info.

It be working till I click login and it must download things, it downlaods a few percent then promptly fails. Although it knows how far it got last time and will continue from there. So I've managed to get it all downloaded, but then an update came out, I tried a go without it, and tried connecting to server, and it says I need Minecraft Forge, which is when I decided to ask about things here.

ok, easy way to test things
delete your .techniclauncher folder, and the previous .jar file that you got from the internet.
Then re-download, and re-install the whole thing, making sure that it's tekkit, and is the latest Recommended build.

Also, antiviruses get in the way massively for this. I had to turn mine off for ten minutes to download it (AVG)

Dr Sag, my next question is how the halibut do you disable AVG in the first place.

I figured it out, but it didn't help. with my whole not-downloading dilemma

right click the icon in the system tray select disable

I don't know, mine worked when I did it, so I don't really know.

Might have just been you sag, I have AVG and Spybot on, and neither of them flashed a warning.
Also, you might have to do it manually in the task manager Whales.
Or you could ask for someone to put it up for download for a few minutes so that you can get the pack.

I think I just give up. Not worth this much hassle.

Or you could just persist, or something.
If nothing else works, start hitting it with a hammer.
