Post by michaeld20 » 22 Oct 2011, 07:32

Man Made.
1. IC (DERRR)
2. Solar City, cmon, how often do you see a floating city! THAT LOOKS GOOD! (also has over 200 stacks of wool acting as clouds 'supporting' the city!)
3. I agree with magmavale volcano and fenreil's dome :D
4. what about a Raven UFO? (crashed or non crashed)
5. YOU MUST INCLUDE FLOWER TOWER, no exceptions.
6. Lath's Fire Temple (If that was even finished)
7. The Twisted Twin Towers of the USSR. Duel twisting towers! if you havent seen them look here: http://www.escapecraft.net/phpBB3/viewt ... ted#p65334
8. The VCLB (although no longer with us)
9. Cant forget the HUB!
10. Ask Zin about his hidden palace! (place is amazing!)
As for the Natural stuff, i have no idea, umm the nether itself maybe? (or a nether temple if we make a 1.8 nether) Valls thingo sounds cool.
Vallorn, i only JUST realised you had a quote of me as your sig! ^_^ i feel honoured! (bonus points for guessing what i referenced)

Everyone and their dog knows it's from Yahtzee, whom I believe gets quoted far too much. There is no need for bonus points.

You could make multiple lists for every world we have ever/do have. Just look at the one random has, almost entirely Terra. There would have to be very astringent rules on what is considered a landmark, otherwise pretty much anything could be in there, because almost anything people make is pretty good.

If someone fixes up the old Briarton tree farm, it should be a wonder. Almost 1500 trees in the farm (used to be 2048, then sort of remade for Birch/Pine and then abandoned mid-reconstruction).

I would've considered Briar Tower, merely because of the art.

Some other things? Harlock's Ship and Beorn's Lighthouse might belong on such a list.

Yeah it goes without saying. The monumental work and sze of the Imperial City makes ANY other man made landmark just mute. Of course it would be nice if it was finished but cmon. There is still lots of work to do and the project has been around for almost a year as it started Dec 3rd 2010.

I knew i had forgotten something in my already full list of landmarks. The Hourglass is a must, along with IC, Flower Tower and Zin's palace.
Actually that reminds me, i should actually go and see the hourglass at some point... never been :?

Cool! gosh I wish I had the time to finish my Paradise, there's so much work to do on it! That includes the bottom part under the floating structure is suppose to be a giant dome of homes for my people. ( which of course, live in secrecy and are unseen by eyes out of our kind )
