1.6.6 testing

I have a test vanilla server up with 1.6.6, it's on a temporary map, but feel free to build as you want, it just won't get saved. Experiment with portals and the nether, preferably close to spawn so that others can use it too.

Connect to test.escapecraft.com (default port). We'll run for a few hours on vanilla MC to make sure things are stable, then start testing bukkit and add plugins later.

Also, do not update and help test if you don't know how to downgrade (and have your 1.5 backed up!), we won't help you downgrade or tell you where to find the files.

Please post comments, bugs, etc that you see here, don't start a new thread.

Multiple portals will teleport you to the first portal's nether portal, instead of creating another portal in the nether.

EDIT: I tested out a third portal and when you go through the other two portals, you will teleport to the third portal upon leaving the nether.

Maps are a bit buggy. When walking with the map in your hands, some of the land you pass by will, instead of showing land on the map, re generate as a non-explored area on the map.

It seems chunk errors may have returned, but they will appear very rarely.

EDIT: Chunk errors are occurring more frequently now.

Chunk errors are definatly back and bigger than usual.

That's the bridge i made to get across the chunk error. The cobble turned to ice when i placed it! :o

If you go into the brick house near warlocks tower there is a dirt block under a sign, go down there and it is a mushroom farm only planted one yesterday
