This army is not dead, it's only going to hibernate until I get back into playing MC.

Knights of the Octagonal Table are cooler...

Perhaps we can make an alliance against the Iron Rogues...

Good idea, my faction wasn't going to declare war on anyone but I like that idea. I'll start building a castle Skunk.

Wait to make an alliance AGAINST someone AFTER we have spread our roots. otherwise we could be destroyed before we start. i say travel far, away from prying eyes. make a mighty castle, then raid and kill and burn everything we bloody see. Also i would like to be part of the castle 'trap maker' -creation/ideas apartment. ive got ALOT of ideas for traps (one including an emergency F U system) but im a n00b with redstone.

Okay random! For my first act, I need 5 volunteers and a lot of cobble stone.

Alright, here are the new faction rules and information.

We are a branch of the USSR for role playing castle sieges, field battles, and dueling. Although there aren't many rules for the PvP server, I have a few I would like to start with for interacting with my new faction.

1. You cannot siege the castle until we finish it.
2. You cannot claim the castle unless there is at least a .5 ratio of defenders to attackers.
3. You cannot grief this castle, only when sieging the castle can you damage/modify it.
4. Attackers are allowed to build siege equipment, TNT cannons, siege towers, ladders, and mines into the castle only during the siege phase.
5. None of these are real rules, but i think following them will make for interesting gameplay.

Here's how it works.

Phase one: siege
First a faction claims the marked out area around the castle ( 10 blocks from the walls ). Then they are allowed to build anything they want on this area. After the faction leader declares the team ready for battle, they must wait until players are online to start phase two.

Phase two: Assault
When the attackers have twice as many men as the defenders online (or both commanders agree that the amount of men in-game are fair) the defenders man their positions and defend against the attacker. You are allowed to destroy things with the corresponding tool or TNT only. The attackers must reach the keep of the castle and destroy a block (most likely a pumpkin) to win the battle. Attackers lose if they fail to take the castle in the given amount of time.

Phase three: victory/defeat
If the attacker wins, they get the spoils of war and get to claim the castle for 4 days. although they cannot alter the castle to much from its original shape, they can build onto or repair damages. They will be tasked with holding the castle for 4 days to achieve total victory (still deciding on what that is). If the attackers lose the battle, they have to repair the area they built on (10 block outside the walls) and make it like new again for the next attacker. They also can't siege the castle again for 2 days.

These are just the rough draft of my rules, so any input would be nice. Also realize, I'm not forcing these rules on anybody, I just think it would ad flavor to another PvP game mode if people get bored of free-for-all matches.

Play fair,

Sir_Luke

Too late, Byroe you're a Duke :D

Also, anyone who joins, I'm going to issue a class and a specialization of weapon you will use.
Example, Redneck1556 (random account name) wants to join and lets say he lives in Solar or blackthorn, whatever. He goes through my basic training and that will determine what I think he will be good for. I don't do this to be annoying or make my troops worse, but I do this for the sake of balancing my armies out to make it fair.
