Ok then, maybe land that is being updated due to players during cartography doesn't get mapped correctly.

What do all the bright red areas mean? I'm a bit concerned that one of them is in a section of my town I haven't messed with a while ago.

I assume it would be a bit oversized with such a huge map, 'cos the Tekkit one's a quite small one. I may be wrong.

I'm thinkin the bright red areas are areas above y128, since my tallest tower and the predator drone are both highlighted in red.

Yes they are above 128, and they aren't supposed to be red.

Dynmaps only map the Nether from a certain distance away from the top bedrock, so that it maps nearly everything below it (sometimes floating islands cover the landmasses below it, though)

Borjan is the landmass in the bottom right hand corner of the survival map, I believe.
