I'm still busy installing/configuring/fighting against features.

Some stuff we've got:

- Working sponges
- Bookshelves you can write to
- Home points you spawn to when you die
- Lockable doors
- Note block sequencers with signs
- Choose which paintings you want to place

...and MORE! Shouldn't be too much longer, I had to update some stuff. Dependency changes, development builds - all kinds of frustrating fun. I'm not giving a deadline now - I can never stick to them. It'll be up when it's up.

This is amazing!

Maybe we will make another Branchscape here! it would be incredible to have it on a floating island!
Can you give directions to the portal from spawn when it opens up?

So wait... Hax how big is the likelihood of actually being able to make portals between the current escapecraft and the futureshifted one?

I'll just say that once Escapecraft updates to Bukkit, there's a fair chance this will happen.

This still has to be worked out, and also fit into the storyline that the creative team is working on. As soon as we have an idea of how this will be done, we'll have announcements up.

Awesome wokka! :D

Still, acording to sneakies post, he plans on taking on a ton of new players. If this happened, then having two worlds would probably be to the benifit of server lag problems!

Cant wait for the new storyline, as i arrived at the beggining of the last one, and I intend to stay with this server permenantly. XD

Absolutely love the community!

Yes, more people, larger world(s) are the goals here, but we haven't finalized all of it yet, mainly waiting on me and bukkit :)

Patience, good things will come...

Edit: I guess it's okay. It's just that within ~400 blocks of the spawn in the two directions I went was too land-filled. The other one had some small islands separated a lot of empty space. The new one has a lot more land. But, after I found a low-lying place not covered by other land masses, I guess it's okay.

If you recall, there was almost no sand in the previous world, and the steep cliffs made it very difficult to get out of the sea. I adjusted some values in the terrain generator to make sand more common and make shorelines a bit more gradual, and this is what it gave me.

So yeah.

If you really liked the previous map that much, there's a portal to it within this one. You'll find it easy enough. Just don't expect a lot of neighbours out there...
