Well, I mean, if your headquarters isn't Executive, then I guess none of the server rules were ever discussed, proposed, or negotiated within that structure, essentially showing that CUT had no say in server bylaws.

I can answer that, if you are in game and you type /tolteca it tells you how big it is. This works for a few other worlds as well.

As stated in another post, just type /tolteca for information about it, you will likely learn a few other things too.

Sent him a PM giving my "gaming" resume, explaining what I had done in the past and what I could offer the community, we setup a time so we could chat in Vent and he pretty much interviewed me. I guess I'm trustworthy enough sounding, plus the server was struggling almost daily with issues, but it worked out in the end.

Very rarely do I have time when I'm sitting at a computer where I don't have anything to do. If I do need to relax and play a game that isn't involved, I have been known to visit http://www.andkon.com/arcade/

My family plays a lot of games, and many are card games. I probably don't have a favorite, but a few of them that I prefer would be Rage (made by UNO years ago), Liverpool Rumy and Hearts.

Is there anything you regret doing with the server?

There are always things that hindsight will show that you didn't do correctly or it would have been better if I had made different decisions. PvP was a time waste for the staff, and while some players enjoyed it, we should have utilized our time elsewhere. Combining the worlds and not closing them was another bad decision, having so much land and having players so spread out wasn't the right thing to do either. We made several good decisions too, I'm extremely happy with how Borjan and Tolteca have done.

Do you watch any web series/Youtube channels?

The Guild and Retarded Policeman are the only two that I watch regularly.

What's a typical wokka day?

Typical day for me would start with my day job, which pays the bills around here, I go into the office, take care of real work things until I get to the point where I'm waiting on emails or automated processes to finish. During this down time, I usually check the EC forums to see what needs my attention, then hop onto IRC to deal with PM's and see how things are there. I'm usually multi-tasking back and forth with the real job and EC. This goes on throughout the day, and if you've ever seen me online, you've noticed that I'm frequently afk. In the evenings, I grab dinner, sit down and relax to a bit of TV. After that, I typically try to play a PC game or two to relax, and sometimes that is minecraft, but not always.

What's been the best day of your life so far?

I've had many, it's hard to narrow down just one.

Are you paying too much for your car insurance?

I don't think so, I recently switched and it wasn't to Geico, their rates are horrible.

I havent so much as stared in the general direction of the PvP entrance in the HUB since it was first implemented nor have i payed any attention to it on the forums since the PvP Big Build. :/ So as far as PvP goes, I am absolutely clueless about any happenings to it on this server.

Why exactly was PvP removed, why were the renovations cancelled and is there any possibility of it coming back?

PvP was removed for a couple of reasons, primarily being that a small percentage of our playerbase went to that world, it was a drain on our resources and very few of our staff wanted to work on it. I cancelled the revamp based on these reasons.

May I also ask if there is any additions maybe in ye future to the VET rank?

Nothing planned at the moment, but we are always looking at ways to add more features. However, we have to weigh in compatibility of plugins with what we run already, server performance and whether a new feature will break our core concepts of a survival server.

Hello Wokka! I would like to ask what are the servers' hardware, exact models? I ask because I would like to get in to running and operating servers. (I have an idea for a security camera network for my landlord. )

The servers are whitebox, so no model number, they are using Supermicro motherboards, Intel Ivy Bridge xeon processors, E3-1230's.

What do you think of Supermicro? Bad, good, smelly?

As you can see from my previous answer, I like Supermicro, good price on them, specs depend on what you will be running on them.

Learn linux/unix, c++, shell scripting, php/mysql and Java

According to steam, its Counter-Strike, but I have rarely played it, however, my son did use my account for many months to play it. The 2nd on the list which was played by me is TF2, with Terrari being next.
