Calling all Players - Do you want a WIPE?
Well, I was reading General discussion this morning and saw this post. http://www.escapecraft.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=137715#p137715 And since I'm not sure how many players have read the thread or had time to comment, I was wondering if I could get some more discussion going about this. Are you i...

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
These changes seem to be looking good for the server. However I myself am curious about how the new land claim system will be set up. If you have to transfer individuals over from the cuboid, have fun because there is like over 60 people on the Fire City Cuboid. Automation, for the win! :D :...

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
I dont think I have any interest in this HC server one bit, it sounds like too much bother and I rather enjoy things on our server as they are now. As for the addition of the new cuboid system , the new plug-ins and the nether quartz, im willing to wait and see. But I really dont like this hard cor...

"It also means new Nether Fortresses. And hopefully not as far to travel as currently." FIVE HOURS, IT TOOK ME FIVE HOURS! And then I lost it to the flush! Uh, say what? We didn't get nether fortresses ingame until after our flush. What flush are you talking about? My comment was about survival 1.5...

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
with the new protection system... what is the size limit? or is that changeable? and are players limited in the amount of claims they can make? IF they are limited or of a restricted size will it be possible to purchase more/bigger ones by donating? Currently, my plan is to have it be the same size...

I still think iron picks are used up too fast, unless you changed that. I don't think I even mined a stack of stone before mine was gone....MKindy wrote:You'll have to adapt, searching for more exposed and under-the-dirt iron, or trade for iron.

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
Physics have been added to all blocks one would consider "loose material" -- cobblestone, dirt, grass, mycelium -- in addition to logs and leaves. logs and leaves. So would trees turn into bushes with a trunk sticking out the middle of them? I think Tulon means if you cut the bottom i...

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
Will the new hardcore server be the standard 3 worlds & it require a different server address to access it? How will you combat the cubiod's placed by players that are gone for months/do not return/ban? Thanks Goda answered two of these questions. I'm not sure if it will have a nether and end or no...

Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)
We've got a lot of things planned for our Minecraft community this year. And we want to get our player community involved in discussing the changes and letting us know what they want to see. Pretty much anything is open for discussion with the exception that we will not discuss our security plugins....

Re: Server Status: 1.4.6-1.4.7 Upgrade complete
Due to an incredibly rare derp of enormous magnitude by a certain unnamed member of staff, we had to roll back the survival map. This means that anything changed on the survival map "worlds" (terra, fyra, borjan, future shift, sky) was returned to its state at 12:42 server time today. At most, playe...

Re: Anybody else excited/terrified for 1.5?
Well, we're not linking a new nether to Tolteca yet - server performance. Players will be able to generate new chunks in the nether for the blocks. And I'll see if I have time to trim the parts of the nether where no one has buildings to speed that up and make things closer to spawn. No promises, t...

Umm... the nether is already like that. We trim it regularly.Invunarble wrote:Well, we could have a repeat of what happened with PvP (maybe to a smaller degree) if we allow for players to spawn infinite amounts of chunks. Just food for thought.

Yeah, I like the look of the stone slabs. But I think I'm ok with this change. I'd really like to have both, tbh.
As for tnt minecarts. Perhaps we will think of a better use for that minecart type......
