Re: What video games scared the HECK outta yah ?
When I was much younger, there was a game known as "Heretic" that used to bother me a bit. Mainly, it was similar to DooM, but the "Hell" aspect was emphasized. Graphics for the time were amazing and immersive, and it truly made me feel at times that I was surrounded by red eyed floating heads of he...

You're 15. I know it sucks, but c'mon, you're 15. Seconding this. Whatever ails you now, recognize that it gets better. In fact, to be 15 and to have summers free, and meals made for you, homework that involves memorizing and repeating, juvenile pranks that are written off... mmhmm. I feel like an ...

If you dig straight down.. you'll find... ... you know what, you should never dig straight down. You should never make a small, doorless stone hut in the middle of nowhere with a hole on the inside that goes straight down to bedrock, so that an unsuspecting Derigin fleeing from mobs would run into ...

I'm just going to put this out there. I did what Vallorn did with the first one, but I kept the proportion of the text intact. I suspect, perhaps I'm wrong, that whoever put it together converted a word of text (or an image with the word) to ASCII. It's not about the binary at all, it's all about th...

I'd love the idea of having massive mobs of creepers everywhere. The number of random explosions would be fascinating.

Fuzz, it's a new stop. Ajax and the shire are at the second stop now. The first stop stops at my town of Beorn, which is also slightly LOTR themed (the hall mentioned above). The town has been there since we first got access to Fyra. It seemed only right to ask for a station for it.

I had a band in the early 2000s. This was the name of it, though it quickly disbanded. I kinda just kept it; it makes for a very cool handle. We had just made it up then, but in retrospect, apparently it's a Russian surname. Goes to show that, no matter what you make up, someone has already done it.

It is understandable and healthy to have absences, if it means the possibility of needing to do what you must do, and returning to a Minecraft where one does not feel as though they're going through the motions. There's an odd quote that seems fitting here; “Friendship, like love, is destroyed by lo...

It is located just a bit north of the shire.

I wouldn't mind helping.
How far south is Ajax, Fuzz? I have a project down there. If it's quite nearby, I'd be glad to integrate it into your new town. Otherwise, I will gladly be of assistance.

I remember seeing it back in the theatre. I enjoyed it, and didn't mind the sequels either. Looking back on that era of Disney, in general, makes me remember it as a good time for them. I still sometimes miss Disney's early 90s television shows. The first Disney film I saw in a theatre was "The Brav...

Re: A New Continent Has Been Discovered
I hope I'm not the only one a bit disheartened that, much like North America in the 16th century, Fyra immediately seems to be visited mainly to exploit its resources. I'm guilty of doing that to places like the Nether, but the mass and sudden acquisition of non-renewable resources by a select few i...

Greetings, Some of you may know me well, others not so well perhaps. For those who don't... it's nice to meet you! When I first joined EC, I ventured south and found a wonderful island devoid of people. It was there that I opted to set up an "estate" of sorts, where I built a public safety tower for...

Re: The Subways
Vall, that map is somewhat inaccurate. The BP/Derg line is far from finished. You can walk from one to the other and ride a good portion of the way, but it's far from fully functional. The main issues are a lack of track and the fact that Lefthitdrip's tunnel is only 2x2. Of course you're busy with...

Vallorn, would you be willing to provide a tentative map of the current and planned subways up in the North and near spawn? It would give us an idea as to where to aim to hook up.

Apologies for the bad quality. http://i52.tinypic.com/x4onia.jpg Vallorn, if you are looking to expand into the south, I'd recommend utilizing some of the tunnels that already exist. The lines in red exist currently, though they would need to be expanded in width/height. I would be happy to work on...
