Re: Navy Whale
-Former Captain, USMC I didn't know "former" Marines existed. Every Marine I've ever met insisted "Once a Marine, always a Marine.". ;) The term refers to one who is no longer active. Just for clarification, while there are many former Marines, there is only one Ex-Marine, and his name is Oswald.

Were it not for his naively utopian foreign policy, I would enthusiastically support him. He served in the military. He's not naïve. As did I, and arguably closer to the cutting edge. My big issue is that he would pull back too fast, leaving a vacuum. It needs to be made clear to those you would po...

I've got a Samsung Fascinate. When I first got it it ran very well, now.. not so much. Not sure what happened but it's prone to shutting off randomly, failing to send or receive messages for hours at a time, and the battery life has gone to shit. I've always taken good care of it (dropped it one ti...

Re: Anyone gonna see Act Of Valor?
It's tempting. Cinematically, it could be quite good. (It could also be really lame, like Red Tails.) Operationally, this along with all the other publicity, it's a huge mistake. Covert operators are supposed to work from the shadows, and everything that reveals or even hints at techniques and tacti...

Meanwhile, back on the original topic, I can report that the flavors do compliment each other. The mild flavor of M&Ms is somewhat overpowered by a good IPA, though. Something with a bit less dairy contamination holds up better.

To be fair, not ALL the holes in the Swiss cheese surface is caused by TNT use, some of them really are just natural caves that haven't been filled in or layered off by me. Good point, assuming we're concerned about fairness. As an example, I just ran into a cave/lake with lava in the region of lay...
