Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Thinking of "behind the scenes stuff", would it be helpful to install a harvesting floodgate on the farm? I built one at my house using a bridge for a valve: Very low profile, but very effective. I'd be happy to do the same for IC.

Yes, Strip mining out IC can be quite lucrative. Eventually I'll build something with all this.

That was pretty much my reaction. It's easily the largest pool I've ever seen, now on its way to becoming a massive amount of obsidian...vallorn wrote:mother of god...Eddietester1066 wrote:If you still need magma, come to IC. I'll leave this pool for you. (NE corner, level 1)

Regarding NE level 2, it's currently back to about z-100, at least up to the ion cannon scar. I've run a tunnel on level 4 with a lift up & some tracks heading back towards the storage complex. I'll start moving my boxes up in the next day or so.

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Speaking of which, there are a few boxes laying around without names on em, It would be nice at some point to move off Floor 3 and go down (or up to floor 4 if you prefer) so we can remove more Level 3 and some level 2 platforms. Just a thought here: What would you think of building out a platform ...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Ive been working on level 2 :) NE corner and someone put random tnt everywhere in there o.o Its odd :L The really odd thing is that the section you're working is that block that got dropped in after someone got overenthusiastic with a cubiod. The outer layers were nothing but solid stone: No ore, n...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Update: FLOOR 3 HAS BEEN 100% REMOVED AND CLEARED! YAAHOO! Shouldn't we focus on clearing the floors of each level ? It's tons of space that we could use to build structures. That was complicaed by the fact that slimes were a major problem for a while, so everyone has been focused on clearing the l...

I must beg to differ, good Sir. We have known for quite some time, years in fact, that the Pakistani services were and are rife with people that are either suborned by or sympathetic with AQ. This operation was done entirely with USA forces. If anything, we told Pakistan that we were planning an ope...

Re: The Building Of the Imperial City: Now with moar minecar
Maybe it's just me, but I've been working towards the NE corner on level 2 and have so far only run into 1 invisible slime. I get a very few mobs coming out of caves that I break into, but it's been really minimal. Should I keep working this level, or move up? I do agree that the slimes under the o...

Assuming you're running Windows, I've had excellent results with Microsoft Security Essentials (http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials) in combination with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (http://www.malwarebytes.org). Still need a bit of help. I found the North Station, took the lift down, walked along a looong tunnel, and found a lift at the other end. Went up, appeared to be in a cuboided cavern. Is this normal?

Since I'm finding digging relaxing, I'd be happy to help with the excavation. Yet Another New Player
Hello everyone! Shamus (TwentySidedTale) got me hooked on MC, so it seems only fitting that I wound up here. I walked for a (game) day and a half before I found some open space and started punching trees. Soon, I met my first creeper. Another day and a half of walking back from the spawn, and I actu...
