The shader is apparently incompatible with my graphics card ;_; Which card do you have? Supposedly it's incompatible with all nVidia cards, but I have one and it works fine for me. I have very limited experience, but I do believe, from my experience with MATLAB, that setting up the fscanf with something like "%s %s %s....." will read in all columns if it is of the given type.
