Because to us atheists, 'God', is an idea; we believe he exists in your head, and we're judging fore-mentioned idea based on books and the idea's 'followers'.

Mmm... Religion was pressured on us where I'm from, and I believe it was just that, accompanied with the total BS people who are heavily "Devout" 'sometimes' spout, I think it just drove me off and made me contemplate religion.
