Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)

Everyone will get a set of starting gear, including a stone pick. You can use that to mine the iron. In addition, whenever you mine an ore block, the surrounding stone turns to cobble, which can also be mined with a stone pick. It's a really cool mining system, and it totally changes the way you pla...

Re: Minecraft Roadmap (aka Plans for the Future)

The hardcore server will be one world only, and will have its own server address. Landclaims created by players who don't log in for a long time will be periodically wiped, as far as I'm aware. I've been playtesting hardcore a lot and I have to say, it's a lot of fun. I think y'all are going to enjo...

What do you think of the concept that the Minecraft community will be the ones updating and carrying Minecraft on into the future once API support has been added because the Minecraft team is running out of ideas to implement themselves. Also what would you like to see added or changed? I personal ...

Re: Because There Wasn't Nearly Enough of These - Goda's AMA

If you could add one thing to Minecraft what would it be? I think fortresses and jungle temples would all be a lot cooler if there were actual traps in them. I've seen a few map generators that included redstone mechanisms - I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard. What's your favourite food? Cheese and ...

You've had a Putin avatar long than anyone, do you ever plan to change it? No. I find it confusing when people change their avatars - I have to take a while to re-associate the avatar with the name. So I don't plan to do that. Do you like Vladimir Putin irl? Eh. He's a badass. But he's also a polit...

Re: No Longer Religious, How do I tell others, or do I?

I urge you to be cautious. I've heard horror stories about non-religious kids coming out to their religious parents. I personally didn't run in to any kind of trouble, but there have been cases where the parents completely disowned their child; kicked them out of the house, took away trust funds, an...

I haven't gotten anything, yet. I see that Morrowind is 40% off, though. I kind of want to wait and see if it'll go any lower before I buy it. I definitely want to try the apparent best game in the elder scrolls series, though.

... I don't think I've ever played through the story of an Elder Scrolls game, lol. I usually wander through dungeons for a while before I get bored and try a new type of character. Although, the guy from Morrowind DID have to deal with fucking cliff racers. And scribs. My vote goes to him. I think...

City cuboids are the size of your city, however big it happens to be. You can't just cuboid empty land and call it a city, though. It has to have buildings and people living there (minimum 3).
